43rd on December 2nd 2k14

Last tuesday (December 2, 2014), was the 43rd UAE national day. My classmates and I went to Corniche (public beach here in Abu Dhabi) to shoot the airshow and the fireworks, the airshow was in the afternoon (3:00 pm) while the fireworks was in the evening (9:00 pm) , but unfortunately I didn't get the chance to capture the fireworks because  my camera was in low battery already, how sad of that right?! But anyway i'm glad that I captured lots of photos during the airshow.

TriviaNational Day (Arabicاليوم الوطنيYawm al watani) is celebrated on December 2 each year in United Arab EmiratesIt marks the UAE's formal nationalization from the British Protectorate Treaties which ended on December 1, 1971 and the eventual, federal unification of the seven emirates in 1971 which combined to form the modern-day country, headed by Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the federation's first president.

Stairway to Heaven

LONG TIME NO POST?!

If you will going to ask me why the title of my blog is Stairway to heaven well my answer is I don't know too! HAHA! Kidding aside, hmmm I really find it hard to think what's the best title for this blog, but I came up to Stairway to heaven. If you love Korean dramas i'm pretty sure you will know where I got my blog title.

Now let me explain these photos, I'm supposed to use se photos for my project in photography but I decided not to use it, instead I used another picture, if you want to see it you are free to check my last blog The Horizon. On the other hand, this is the new parish in St. Joseph Church. It was blessed last 10/24/2014, the Solemn Mass of Blessing was celebrated by the Apostolic Vicar of Southern Arabia, H.E. Bishop Paul Hinder, together with the Apostolic Nuncio to the Arabian Peninsula, H.E. Archbishop Petar Rajic and the Apostolic Vicar of the Vicariate of Northern Arabia, H.E. Bishop Camillo Ballin and twenty-three other priests from various parishes of the Vicariate of Southern Arabia. Fr. Reinhold Sahner was the Master of Ceremonies for the liturgy.

The Horizon

I was amazed by the sun, I can tell you its worth it to wake up early! You will see the true beauty of the sun. I used to hate the sun because it brings too much heat, which is I don't like. (I'm a night person, Vampire for short) HAHA! But when I saw it I said to myself, oh wow! I should really go out in the morning!

PS: I didn't use any effects.
